About  [Edit]

Insight Research Network

(INSIGHT) is a division of voluntary organisation Amrita, registered under society registration act 1860, working with communities on health, decentralization and environmental issues since 1990, where researchers, trainers, social activists, advocates and other experts conglomerate there information and understanding to form a synergic, multidisciplinary atmosphere, conducive to greater learning and help develop a multidimensional insight about social processes and changes in socio-economic-cultural pattern of society. INSIGHT has recently brought together highly qualified and experienced research and training professionals to provide research, training and consultancy services in Social and Environmental areas.

Our Vision

We believe that life is an exploration. Human life is the greatest achievement of life process on this planet. We are different from other species because we have the capacity to take decisions based on rationality, analysis and insights, which others don't. Success of our species lies in questioning the situation, challenging the limitations, dreaming about possibilities and achieving the goals. Keeping our legacy of challenging, dreaming and achieving in mind, we dream for a better world, a world of possibilities, peace and equality. We believe that through our sheer rationality, deeper analysis and holistic insights we can make positive shifts in the course of life on this planet. We are optimistic about realizing the dream of making this world more human to live and keeping the wings of humanity fly in the realm of possibilities.

Our Mission

Keeping our vision in mind we have set following goals:

  1. Creating a platform where researchers, other professionals and ordinary people can share their insights.
  2. Bringing scientific process into activities and actions of people, organizations and governments across the world.
  3. Developing a pool of researchers, especially in third world countries.
  4. Generating awareness among people, organizations and governments through our researches and insights on relevant issues across the world.
  5. Supporting organizations and governments across the world with researches, analysis, documentations and trainings.

Our Approach

We subscribe to the view that the change is the ultimate nature of universe. We, also, hold the view that changes in society and environments are complementary to each other.  It is essential to understand and recognize this interface between society and environment to have a realistic understanding of various issues.  Such an approach with holistic perspective and multidisciplinary insight is the only way to tackle the problems faced by contemporary world and for ensuring a sustainable development of society and environment across the glob.

Organization

Insight Research Network is a non-profit initiative of the voluntary  organization 'AMRITA' to achieve the above mentioned goals. However  our network is consisted of many professionals, NGOs, non-profit voluntary organizations as well as profit making organizations and companies.
