About [Edit]
Who we are
We are a California 501 (c) 3, Non-profit Corporation with international roots and activities. Life Connect International was created to provide comprehensive social services to people in need.
Vision
To help afford healthy self-sustaining lives for local communities located throughout the globe-- harmony through societal, economical and environmental unity. We seek to connect lives to create a world of healing.
Mission
By bringing together a collaborative effort from various business entities for
sustainability, we strive to connect individuals and families throughout the
globe with comprehensive programs that will enable psycho-social developmental
growth through strengths identification and utilization. Using primarily
preventative approaches in various ways we seek to empower individuals and
families to obtain the necessary life skills to break negative cycles and
attain a more dignified life, one that reflects self-sufficiency and
self-fulfillment. These individuals are us, family members, business men and
women, and members of our community.
How we Operate
We strongly believe in collaboration and not in working alone. All Life Connect operations for services fall under The LIVES Project (Linking Individuals to Valuable Externalities for Sustainability), which aims to bring a community together to heal and sustain itself by allowing everyone involved to receive and or offer help. Our ambition to help entire communities achieve sustainable goals is therefore not provided by Life Connect alone. We seek collaboration where other organizations posses demonstrated strengths and significant experience in a field or service to help us fulfill our mission.
To achieve sustainable goals in a community requires a community to come together in such a way that it provides for each other, and subsequently, for itself. Through The LIVES Project we are able to acquire funding to help us, our collaborators, and our communities. This goal is best reached and sustained through collaboration with the best natural fit to help our communities achieve success. When an individual or organization lacks the strength or resources to reach out further, Life Connect, via the LIVES Project, provides support to these entities towards a collaborative mutual benefit in what is called a “win-win-win philosophy” where all stakeholders are accounted for, and therefore “win”.
LCI Guiding Principles
- Local communities have the power to change the world.
- Self-sufficiency is a basic need on a natural hierarchy of needs that all human beings share.
- Actualizing characteristics are attainable for all individuals. Individuals having achieved these will help others to do the same.
- While intervention is important in some cases, prevention drives the future!
- Never stop giving!
- Everyone has strengths and our job is to find out what drives you and use that to create a better world.
- Believing in you is our passion.
- Natural systems have much to teach us.
- NEVER STOP LEARNING AND GROWING!
