The Gulf Islands Centre for Ecological Learning is a place-based ecological exploration program connecting people with nature using the unique and wonderful ecosystems of the spectacular southern Gulf Islands.



The vision for the Gulf Islands Centre of Ecological Learning is to create the experiential nature and placed based programs for urban youth, for school children, international students, adults and elders using the ecosystem services framework. The participants in this program over time will then be able to demonstrate to, and influence, others. We intend to nurture the eco-literate citizens who are responsible citizens and believe in sustainability for the 21st Century
