Vision
The creation of a society which follows the principles of the Pancasila, which guarantees the same rights and responsibilities for both men and women, which respects and realises human rights and acknowledges and upholds principles of gender equity in all aspects of life.
Mission
To fight for equal opportunities for men and women with the aim of building and developing an independent society. To aid all citizens to make use of their rights and fulfil their responsibilities in an atmosphere of democracy, openness, equality, peace and safety.
Programs
- Increasing women?s political capacities through training and civic/democracy education.
- Developing womens networks in order to achieve a united movement and consensus about ways to increase the level of representation and participation of women in politics.
- Using the mass media to shape public opinion in ways that support the advancement of women and promote equality between men and women in the processes and structures of national policy making.
- Carrying out research, documentation, data collection and periodic publications about conditions of gender equity and inequity in the field of politics.
