The Natural Step`s mission is to accelerate global sustainability by guiding companies and governments onto an ecologically, socially and economically sustainable path. Scientific research lies at the heart of The Natural Step. Through extensive collaboration and application, our research group draws on the expertise of an interdisciplinary, international network and works to strengthen the theory and practice of sustainability.

We engage with our clients as intellectual partners to pioneer sustainable solutions. Our professional consulting teams advise business executives and government officials on how to practically integrate our sustainability principles into their strategy and operations.
