About  [Edit]

One of the first steps that one can take to become active in animal rights is to become a Vegan or Fruitarian. Many people do not realize the intense pain and suffering, both emotionally (yes animals have emotions) and physically, that animals go through on the way to one's plate. To start, it is important to know that there are many branches to vegetarianism.

- Fruitarians: The fruitarian diet consists of RAW fruit and seeds ONLY. Examples of fruits are: Pineapple, mango, banana, avocado, apple, melon, orange, etc., all kinds of berries, and the vegetable fruits such as tomato, cucumber, olives; and dried fruits such as nuts, hazelnuts, cashews, chestnuts, etc.. And seeds including sprouted seeds.

- Vegans: Vegans do not consume any meat, eggs or dairy products. Vegans also do not use any animal products such as leather, fur, silk, wool or substances that were tested on animals. Going Vegan is one of the greatest steps to take in the process of ending animal cruelty.

- Non-Meat Eater(Vegetarians): Do not consume any meat products, however they do consume eggs and dairy products. When you consume dairy products and eggs remember, calf and cows STILL suffer!!!
