About [Edit]
Founded in 1894, AVIS, is one of the oldest conservation organizations in the country. AVIS is a non-profit conservation society dedicated to acquiring land and preserving it in its natural state.
We maintain 30 miles of trails, boardwalks, and bridges that are open to the public on over 1100 acres of AVIS reservations in Andover.
Land Purchase has been historically the central role for AVIS. We also provide publications - Newsletter, Trail Guides, Map, Website, Nature Trail, and Brochures and write for local papers.
