Des Eléphants et Des Hommes is an association under the French law of 1901, that is a non profit-making association. Its two main missions are:
••• Inform and heighten the largest public’s awareness of the elephant conservation issue, elephant as species, but also as symbol of a wild nature more and more threatened.
••• Act, supporting form France, field projects. As of today, the Association supports two projects about conflictual relations between communities and elephants in the Okavango delta, Bostwana, in Southern Africa. These projects are lead by Living With Elephants Foundation: www.livingwithelephants.org
