About  [Edit]

Mission statement

Tennessee Interfaith Power & Light (TIP&L) seeks to involve congregations of faith as Stewards of God's Creation by promoting energy conservation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and related sustainable life practices.

responsibility

As people of faith and as citizens, we are responsible for our own choices and actions. Let's work together: to reduce our use of energy; to reduce our energy-wasting consumption; to promote the use of clean energy instead of energy from polluting sources; to inform ourselves about public policy relating to climate change and energy production at local, regional, national, and global levels.
We would love your involvement. We have monthly meetings in Knoxville. To find out when the next meeting is scheduled, contact us.
