CASSAD is an NGO focusing on promoting improved quality of human welfare and environment in Africa . The founding of the centre is in response to the endemic poverty manifest in declining quality of life , human settlement and environment in Africa, in general and in Nigeria in particular . CASSAD operates as an action- oriented NGO, using action projects advocacy, research and human resources devoplement as instruments to pursue poverty reduction and ensure sustainable development in Nigerian communities.
