About [Edit]
We can discuss: organic/ecological/sustainable farming, alternative energy & building, homesteading, self-sufficiency, intentional communities/ecovillages and community living, voluntary simplicity, and environmental protection; as well as our future dreams and plans, political topics (such as NAIS, energy policy, our economy), advice, and ways to get started towards sustainability now!
This group is linked to on the ic.org listing for "Two Rock Farm and Ecovillage," and I started this Yahoo group because there is an unfortunate lack of communication between so many like-minded individuals who have created ic (intentional community) listings on ic.org. Many, many of the communities in the "forming" stage are the dreams and goals of individuals or couples, with no additional members, no official organization, and no land - like my listing, Two Rock! We have posted these listings online because we want to find like-minded people to participate in our dream - of creating community, of living sustainably, of living closer to the land and being stewards of it. For all these people with dreams and future aspirations, I have created this group so we can talk, learn, and maybe even collaborate.
