Ka `Ohana o KaLae is a grassroots organization that seeks to protect unique natural and cultural resources on the island of Hawai`i, in the Ka`u district at KaLae, South Point, through restoration of cultural sites, revegetation of coastal native plant species, education programs for school children and the public and perpetuation of traditional native rights, customs and practices.
