About  [Edit]

Founded by a youth activist Thomas Barlue in 2004, while still living his life as a refugee in Ghana, the idea grew momentum after he returned to Liberia in 2006, and is been supported by many volunteers to help Liberia’s street children after the long lasted 14 years civil unrest and the acute damnations been impose on child survival, especially Females, who are mostly at risk, growing up in the streets.

CEO look consider the burning case of a Liberian street child, majority of whom lost their parents and/or family carriers, who are now vulnerable to abuse, at risk of poor health, exploited by older children or adults, and in some cases, at risk from vigilantes. They are victims but free spirits innocents whose case is a serious concern to the founders.

This established idea is to support unaccompanied, street children who form 25% of the inhabitants in the city of Monrovia, 30 percent of the entire national population. CEO promise to seek all possibilities through which war affected and unaccompanied children can regain their lost hope after war, when their parents and love ones left them in a world without definition and direction.

Major Assumption

Every child has a right to grow up in a nurturing environment where they can realize their full potential. The street, with the risks it poses, is not such an environment.

Thanks for the rate number Glolady,

I'd like to invite you to become a contributor to our group, Street Child Support Fun.

I'm using this online space to raise fund for our street child support program in Liberia.

Your little in kind/cash contribution will mean alot as it change a life of someone affected by war in another destination.

You are whole heartedly welcome.

Regards,

Thomas

GloLady TV is starting our Third Season on October 3, 2008 filming live at URTV public access station in Asheville, NC on Friday nights from 6-7:30pm EST. Streaming live at www.URTV.org  This show has been continually evolving since October 2007. Repeats can be viewed on google video under GloLady TV.

For our Third season the theme is “Solutions for Change”.  Focused upon Global involvement for that solution, what effects one affects all.  Topics will be as varied as the guests.  Those who try to make a difference, who choose to live by example.

Using the World Wide Web as a platform, we will utilize the live call ins 1-828-505-2806 as an important connection to our guests. If you or anyone that you know would like to be a part of GloLady TV please contact GloLady TV c/o Lisa Bain Landis P.O. Box 1164 Brevard, NC 28712 GLoLadyTV@gmail.com">GLoLadyTV@gmail.com

Even though GloLady TV would fit into any of the categories on URTV, I choose to keep it under the 1st Amendment.  Freedom of speech is extremely important in today’s censored main stream media.

International performing artist James Crouch will once again be providing the theme music. www.myspace.com/thejamescrouchband

Offering International sponsorship to make the First Live International talk show… (that I know of)…. a success!
