The Hippo Water Roller was designed to alleviate the suffering associated with the long distances that must be travelled by the poor in regions with limited access to water.
The barrel-shaped container is designed to transport 90 liters (20 gallons) of water. The drum, manufactured from UV stabilized Polyethylene designed to withstand typical rural conditions, includes a large screw-on cap, which ensures hygienic storage of water, and a clip-on steel handle.
