About [Edit]
CSC`s mission is to develop, manage, or own housing and provide community services that promote the health and well being of elders, low income persons and persons with disabilities.
The organization was formed as a ministry of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in 1977 and by 1979 CSC had opened its first building – Three Cathedral Square – on land owned by the church. CSC services are available to all on an equal opportunity, nondiscriminatory basis.
Today CSC manages properties and has participated on the development team for 31 projects. The housing communities range in size from 5 units up to 112 single family homes. Most of CSC`s housing is for seniors; however, CSC has developed several projects for special needs populations and developed two intergenerational projects. CSC has participated in projects in Addison, Caledonia, Chittenden, Franklin, Lamoille, Orange, Washington, Windham, and Windsor counties.
