About  [Edit]

The mission of Second Journey is:

To create educational experiences that explore and celebrate what it means to give one`s gifts in the second half of life — experiences that promote mindfulness, service and community.

To facilitate the establishment of new communities that represent new models for living and learning and social change for the 21st century.

From many quarters a new vision of the rich possibilities of the second half of life is emerging as an opportunity to open new avenues for individual growth and spiritual deepening; to birth a new national ethic of service and mentoring in later life; and to marshal the distilled wisdom and experience of elders to address the converging crises of our time, geopolitical and environmental.
