Undertakes environment awareness campaigns. Initiates projects which encourage natural resource management, such as the establishment of nurseries, the distribution of seedlings and tree planting programmes. Encourages woodlot establishments and improved irrigation systems. Conducts courses in integrated sustainable farming methods.
