Mission
ADIM is a microfinance institution dedicated to entrepreneurial development, especially of female entrepreneurs in peripheral urban and rural areas with market exchanges, towards their transcendence, their personal affirmation and evolution into more equitable relationships.
ADIM began operations in June of 1989, as a consequence of the shared decision of a group of women leaders of the zone. ADIM has passed through three significant phases.
1) Exprimental
2) Participatory institutional construcción
3) Specialization
The board of directors is composed of five positions occupied by professional women, technicians y microentrepreneurs that all had more than 10 years experience in the field.
ADIM is structured in two programs: Financial Services (S.F.A) and Entrepreneurial Development within the focus of Gender in Development, both with independent and complementary characters, related through planning y budgetary independence.
It carries out its actions on the basis of strategic and operational planning that relates to the complementary form of both programs. The financial services program executes the Business Plan (Business Planning with MICROFIN) projected over five years, projecting as a premier service the Credit for Female Housing.
The composition of personnel is 60% female, all professionals or technicians with more than five years of experience that practice an institutional culture distinguished by respecting differences, the relationship of authority and equity, professional demands, personal efficiency and teamwork.
