Purpose Statement

The Harvard College Albanian Club is concerned with social, economic, and political issues that Albanians throughout the world are facing. The Club will seek to promote awareness and understanding of these issues within the Harvard community by appropriate means such as seminars, meetings, publications, cultural events, summer projects, and other educational activities. The Harvard College Albanian Club will furthermore work with the rapidly-growing Albanian community in the Greater Boston Area and at the same time maintain close contact with the main issues concerning the country itself. Given that Albania is going through an economic and political transition, Albanian students at Harvard College want to give their contribution to help facilitate this process.
