About  [Edit]

"Artsboretum: A Vehicle for Change," is a music centric, environmentally focused non profit organization. Our mission - to preserve, celebrate and cultivate our rich music legacy, harnessing the power of the arts to drive positive change. Our title stems from the recognition that music is "a vehicle for change" in a child's life and in our world. By supporting non-profit music education and performance based organizations, enabling them to serve more low income and at risk youth, our goal is to channel kids' energy in a positive direction. This will both improve the life of each child and the quality of life in their community. We are driving the Artsboretum project, the plan to repurpose the former location of The Plant Recording Studios, an historic cultural landmark, as a green, multi tenant, music/arts incubator.
Our goal is to reduce the facility's carbon footprint, while expanding service to our community. Eventually, vehicles in our programs will use "plant based" and alternative fuels, therefore, each will be "a vehicle for change," increasing awareness of responsible environmental living and green business opportunities, driving social change.
