Encourages and assists communities to practise agro-ecological agriculture aimed at avoiding environmental degradation and favouring self-sufficiency in food production. Conducts courses on agricultural and environmental education, tropical agro-ecology and international cooperation. Supports projects for local development and sustainable agriculture and development in Burkina Faso and Tunisia. Co-publishes the review "Acacia".
