programme in “Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability"
~Creating
leaders for the 21st Century~
This unique one-year masters programme is founded on the basic premise that a
‘whole-system’ approach is needed to deal with the sustainability challenge.
Taught in English, the programme focusses on training leaders for the 21st century through a transdisciplinary approach to sustainability. The entire programme revolves around 1) a framework for strategic sustainable development [also known in business as The Natural Step Framework] and 2) organisational learning and leadership required for sustainability decision-making.
Participants are offered a personalised learning environment, peer interaction between diverse nationalities and professions, access to international experts, membership to an active professional alumni network and diverse career options as sustainability change agents in business, government, academia and community organisations.
The programme is hosted at Blekinge Institute of Technology, situated in an area of natural beauty adjacent to the Baltic Sea in the World Heritage-listed city of Karlskrona, Sweden.
Applications are accepted from December to February each year (for a programme start in late August) and high calibre professionals in early to mid-career from all nations, professions and educational backgrounds are welcome to apply.
