Is there a meeting this month? I am a student at Fresno City College practicing and in the process of learning many of the above mentioned skills. My goal is to start a permaculture farm in Fresno that can eventually provide food and shelter for non profit or community workers so that they can continue to work for the community independently and not be forced to stop because of budget problems and to start the process of land regeneration here in the valley, educating people along the way. I have helped build 3 cob houses and have interned at a farm specializing in food security and agroforestry. I am so excited to see that there is a guild for permaculture in the Sierra Nevada. I hope we can come together and do a lot of good things! Can't wait to meet you all!
