* maintain and enhance our local natural environment.

We provide:

* A free sustainable living information service

* An extensive environmental resource collection for use by the community and schools

* Community environmental education materials and services

* Office and administrative support for groups engaged in environmental care work.

We organize:

* Tasmania's Environmental Home Expo

* Practical workshops and tours to highlight urban sustainability issues including energy efficiency, water conservation, transport and backyard biodiversity.
