The company was founded specifically to give the vanilla farmers of the region an alternative to the open market in which they rarely obtain a living wage price for their product. The company is fairly new, but they have already rallied the farmers’ organizations behind organic and fair-trade certification.

My wife and I support a fair trade coffee store in our little Northern town but more awareness and ability to buy and support these organizations is needed I am trying to learn more to get more people aware and to maybe develope a retail source where shoppers can help build up the farmer orgaizations behind the organic and fairtrade movement
