Proplaya

Proplaya is a Chilean non-profit corporation inspired by the experiences of its founders: ocean lovers who offer new perspectives and active solutions to the contemporary environmental challenges facing the coastal zone of Chile.

Our strategy includes national media campaigns for the environment, beach cleanups, environmental litigation, environmental education in local schools and ocean-minded advertising in Chilean media outlets.

Mission

Proplaya protects and enhances Chile's beaches, waves and coastal waters from pollution and misuse through community activism and education.

Vision

As surfers, divers, fishermen, sailors, watermen and lovers of the coast, we envision a world in which all people can enjoy and benefit from a clean & healthy coastal environment. We are motivated to realize this vision through thought-provoking activism in the community and the provision of timely, useful education.
