FREDA is an NGO with interest in forest environmental issues and has been working with international NGOs in reforestation of 1115 acres tidal forests in Burma’s Delta areas.



Conducts socio-economic surveys exploring the impact of slash-and-burn agriculture on forest resources. Proposes alternative income generating activities such as the introduction of new technology and/or development of small scale cottage industries.
