About [Edit]
Events for Change produces innovative events that support the growing movement of non-profit organizations, corporations and governements that are coming together to promote positive environmental and social change in the world. We believe in the power of events, live and virtual, to bring people together to educate, transform, inspire positive action, enhance a sense of community, and celebrate humanity.
Events for Change was the Executive Producer of Pangea Day (www.pangeaday.org) a global celebration that used the power of film and cutting-edge technology to bring people together to see the world through someone else's eyes. In January, Events for Change brought together hundreds of celebrations around the world as part of Barrack Obama's Inaugural Neighborhood Ball on ABC. Events for Change is the Executive Producer of the State of the World Forum (www.worldforum.org) which will re-convene in November of 2009 to kick-off a ten year iniative to address a new sense of urgency around climate change. Other clients include: The Pachamama Alliance, The Clinton Global Initiative, Rock Rose Institute, United Way, and the Professinal Business Women of California to mention a few.
Over the past thirty years, Events for Change has cultivated a network of producers, artists and media companies that are dedicated to the mission of our organization. In the past year, we worked closely with hundreds of producers in over ten countries to make magic and create change. We are proud to work with affiliate companies: Chris Wayne & Associates, Futureview and e2k to develop innovative approaches to event production and communications.
