About [Edit]
The objective of BothAnd is to shift the national conversation from destructive debate to creative problem-solving by demonstrating new forms of constructive interaction in the broadcast media as a catalyst to a broader transformation of our civic culture.
Our goal is to replace either/or with BothAnd thinking as a more productive approach to divisive public issues.
The Mainstream Media Project is a nonprofit, foundation-sponsored public education organization that uses the mainstream broadcast media to raise public awareness about new approaches to longstanding societal problems. MMP's mission is to catalyze breakthrough conversations and connections between people of widely varying convictions through two complementary programs: 1) Guests on Call issues media alerts pegged to breaking news events to regional and national radio markets, booking radio interviews with experts, analysts, and on-the-ground practitioners; and 2) MMP's internationally syndicated radio program, "A World of Possibilities," features leading policy analysts and social innovators from around the world addressing key global issues.
