About  [Edit]

Aina Arts is a not-for-profit organization whose aim is to provide the benefits of an arts education by promoting the use of local art forms, materials and methods among children in marginalized communities. Through volunteer opportunities, we bring college students in the United States and host countries to school communities where they collaborate with local artists, NGOs and educators to draw out the benefits of the arts in underprivileged communities.

Using art as a tool, we seek to enliven the learning environment and release the full potential of the youth, empowering them with art as a voice. We work as facilitators, interacting directly with the children and forging the necessary links between local artists, NGOs and teachers to make our work indigenously sustainable.
