About [Edit]
The Bainbridge Island Bill of Rights Defense Committee (BIBORDC) was created in March 2003 in response to provisions of the USA Patriot Act (passed by Congress in October 2002), the proposed Domestic Security Enhancement Act (USA Patriot Act II), and a number of supplemental executive orders that seriously infringe on our civil liberties and rights.
We succeeded in our goal to present a Resolution to Protect the Civil Rights and Liberties of the People of Bainbridge Island, Washington to the City of Bainbridge Island City Council for passage.
