About  [Edit]

The Malaria Consortium is a non-profit organisation, registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom. The organisation is governed by an independent Board of Trustees.

As one of the organisations dedicated to the control of malaria we believe malaria can be and should be controlled. It is a moral, economic, public health and social responsibility.

The Malaria Consortium aims to:

* Improve capacity in partner countries and organisations to control malaria and diseases among vulnerable groups.
* Provide responsive and proactive management and technical support to Ministries of Health and partners on disease control and health systems development.
* Organise and manage the delivery of effective services and commodities to the populations in greatest need.
* Establish strong strategic alliances to integrate policies, systems and best practice for disease control at global, regional and local levels.
* Improve access to and utilisation of evidence based information by global, regional and national partners to encourage improved control of communicable diseases.
