Our mission is to build a learning community that strengthens leadership development by sharing ideas, resources, the results of inquiry, lessons learned, and innovative practices.
Our Values:
The Leadership Learning Community anchors all learning and work in our developing community values of openness, service, diversity, sharing, reflection, deep learning, integration of theory and practice, and a willingness to lead and follow.
Our Work:
The Leadership Learning Community is organized around regional circles, affinity circles and circles focusing on specific leadership development themes.This website has been developed to create an accessible leadership development program directory, an online knowledge base and to support virtual learning activities. Learning is generated and disseminated through regional meetings, learning circles on specific topics and Creating Space national gatherings.
The Leadership Learning Community [LLC] believes that we can strengthen our ability to develop leadership that can transform society by building a learning community that shares lessons, resources, and innovative practices. Unlike traditional membership organizations, LLC`s dynamic, action-oriented model relies on the exchange of knowledge, resources, and time. This requires high levels of openness, trust, respect, and a commitment to deepening the capacity of all leadership development practitioners.
The members of the Leadership Learning Community are united by a deep commitment to the practice of leadership development. Representing a diversity of perspectives and experiences, they include those who fund, research, run, and provide services to leadership development programs.
