About  [Edit]

The Women`s Environmental Leadership [WELL] Network is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that connects these women to leverage their power and lead them to action.

we are :

Philanthropists

Business leaders

Activists

What we are :

A grass-tops network

California based

Non-partisan

WELL Network has two goals:

1.To stop the weakening of environmental regulations and cuts in funding that affect the health of California`s families

2.To have a comprehensive, long-term solution for a healthy and environmentally protected state.

About WELL

Traditionally, women care first and foremost about the health and well-being of their children, family and community. From Lois Gibbs to Erin Brokovitch, when women see their health and environment threatened -- they act. Women in leadership positions have an increased chance of having an impact on the entrenched system that threatens our health, if they come together. The Women`s Environmental Leadership [WELL] Network is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that connects these women to leverage their power and lead them to action.

EDUCATE

Through educational events throughout the state, WELL Network brings women together to talk about the entrenched systems that separate good health from environmental quality.

CONNECT

We are philanthropists, business leaders and activists focused on crossing the bridge between environmental and health issues. WELL Network links women leaders one-to-one and regionally to promote action.

ACT

WELL Network identifies priority issues to act on, for legislative initiatives and beyond.

While California is our focus, WELL Network will serve as a model for protecting the environmental health of other states in the nation.
