ASISH aim is to promote socio-cultural and economic changes at the community level to create a process of development and tackle poverty. We emphasis on promoting and supporting sustainable communities in which people gain equality, social justice and democratic control over their lives.

ASISH belives that poverty is a structural problem and any solution for it has to be a structural solution done systematically to tackle its root cause. The ultimate achievment of development would be people and communities giving democratic control over their resources, equitable distribution of assets, realizaation of social justice in practical life and people gaining democratic control over decision making as well as autonomy in life as individuals and as communities.
