Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri seeks a world in which:

- every decision regarding sexuality is personal and informed, and

- everyone has access to affordable, quality health care



Advocacy



PPKM monitors public policy at local, state and national levels that pertains to reproductive health services and freedoms. With the assistance of hundreds of volunteers, PPKM supports public policies that are consistent with our mission of assuring that people can make and act on their own decisions regarding whether and when to have children.



Education



PPKM offers sexuality education to Kansas City area schools and organizations. We provide informative and interactive presentations on eleven topics. Presentations are designed to give young people information about reproductive health and sexuality and to help them make informed and decisions about relationships and sexual behaviors.



Development



The commitment and generosity of our donors allow us to provide services to over 30,000 clients annually, many of who rely on us as their only medical provider and source of honest, medically accurate information. Our care is accessible to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
