The vision of EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA is to provide integrated services that are equitable, accessible, sustainable and people centered with and for people with epilepsy and other disabilities and all affected by epilepsy, to promote social justice.

EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA is a dynamic organization providing developmental services nationally to promote equal opportunities for people with epilepsy and other disabilities.

our services

The National Office of EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA provides strategic leadership to the organisation to create a society in which people with epilepsy and other disabilities have equal opportunities to function optimally to achieve their fullest potential in all spheres of life. The National Office also strives to develop and maintain service excellence, sound management and financial stability within the organisation.

A number of national programmes support this vision:
* National Governance within EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA
* The development, amendment and implementation of relevant policies in consultation with the National Board, Branches and other stakeholders,
* Support and assistance to EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA Branches
* The development and management of national training programmes
* Identification of services needs of branches and the compilation and implementation of strategic plans based on these needs;
* Monitoring and evaluation of service delivery at national and branch levels;
* The management of national and international affiilation and interaction with relevant roleplayers (especially in terms of the disability and NGO sectors) in order to promote the image of EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA;
* Statutory reporting;
* Circulation of relevant information to branches;
* Development of a national product range for protective workshops and income generation groups owned and operated by EPILEPSY SOUTH AFRICA;
* National marketing of branded products;
* Facilitation of participation of branches in production and sales;
* Mentoring and supporting existing employment creation projects;
* Facilitation of the establishment of economic and social development services in previously under- or unserved provinces;
* Management of a national public communication strategy;
* Management of a national information system;
* Fund development in regard of national programmes;
* National advocacy campaign;
* National social development programmes;
* National skills development programme.
