The organisation is a self-governing body with non-profit goal, which accomplishes its activities in compliance with the Bulgarian Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.



The organisation is a legal entity, entitled by the Sofia District Court.



The mission of the Organisation is to create a better society for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Bulgaria.



Goals of the Organisation are:



o Social inclusion of lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender persons in the Republic of Bulgaria;



o Equal rights, irrespective of sexual orientation and gender identity, of the citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria and residents in the country;



o Abolition of all forms of legal, social, cultural and economical discrimination and victimization of lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender people.



Range of activities for accomplishment of goals:



1. Provision of information to LGBT people and the general society on their rights in Bulgaria.

2. Partnership with Bulgarian, international and world organisations, that work for the rights and social integration of LGBT people.

3. Initiation of and participation in national and international campaigns for promotion and defence of human rights.

4. Assistance to lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender people and their families in provision of legal, social and medical help.

5. Prevention of HIV/AIDS and other sexually-transmitted diseases and cooperation with national and international organisations in that context.

6. Close cooperation with the juridical, executive and legislative authorities to ensure equal opportunities and rights of the citizens of Bulgaria, irrespective of sexual orientation and gender identity.
