Background: Founded in 1992, the Center`s mandate is human rights advocacy and legal assistance.



Activities: It runs human rights education programs, has assisted in developing a human rights course at the Law School in Monrovia, has provided training to police on human rights standards, and has developed a program for former combatants. The Center also provides legal aid and has a resource and documentation centre.
