Our Mission Statement:
The Friends In Need Food Bank exists to provide for the hungry in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. To inform and refer when needed and to raise awareness concerning hunger issues.
The Friends In Need Food Bank is a non-profit society serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. We are proud to be the only local food bank that is a registered member of the Canadian Association of Food Banks. As such, we do not solicit money by telephone or door-to-door and rely heavily on the generosity of local residents and businesses.
