Vivek Chetna is a voluntary development organisation run by women only. Its main aim is upliftment of the weaker sections of the society namely children and women. The other concern of the organisation has been the empowerment of women and make underprivileged women aware of the basic rights. Efforts have also been made to reduce/neutralise gender bias in today`s society-be it in education, work place, vocational training, rural development etc. Some of its activities include running literacy centres, fighting social injustice, counselling, health care and medical aid, training, income generation and employment.
