CFSA is a membership-based organization of more than 900 farmers, processors, gardeners, businesses and individuals in North and South Carolina who are committed to sustainable agriculture and the development of locally-based, organic food systems.
CFSA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization governed by a diverse 15-member Board of Directors. With an increase in members, CFSA is becoming more regionalized with six local chapters across the Carolinas. These chapters develop educational programs, work on local solutions to pressing environmental and social problems, and provide a direct and lively way for members to interact throughout the year with others committed to healthy food and farms in their region.
CFSA's Mission is:
