The Alan B. Slifka Foundation is a small family foundation that focuses its grantmaking in the field of coexistence -- the proactive embrace of diversity and difference. We only fund nonprofit organizations. In the human rights arena, we are interested in proposals that address human rights issues through cooperative, cross-group work. We can only fund U.S.-based organizations or organizations that are represented by US-based pass-through or re-granting organizations.
