Mission:

ASEO mainly works with impoverished farming communities in the Department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Many of these communities live around the ecologically important Amboró National Park, and due to their impoverishment often hunt in the park, fell trees, etc. - ASEO's aim is to provide these people with sustainable agricultural training, and also to raise awareness of their rights and duties as citizens, so that they can participate in decisionmaking. ASEO also works with local and national government and other actors towards more equitable use of state resources and more sustainable treatment of the environment, and encourages coordination between NGOs.
