The Ancient Forest Education Foundation offers ethnobotany and herbal medicine-making classes for adults and kids. Classes cover the history of plants as both food and medicine, by Native Americans as well as by modern herbalists. An eight-week homeschooling curriculum for kids ages 8-17 is available, as well as one or two day workshops. All classes spend part of the time outdoors in plant identification and/or sustainable wildcrafting as we believe the best way to learn about nature is in its natural setting.
