Friends United for Need`s [FUN] goal is to host enjoyable, exciting events that will provide funding to local, lesser-publicized charities. FUN is also committed to raising community awareness of its beneficiaries through public relation campaigns and volunteer drives.



FUN pledges to remain as it was founded, an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-political organization that will donate all proceeds from its events directly to its chosen beneficiary. FUN selects its beneficiaries based on reputation, need and administrative costs.



To provide homeless and formerly homeless women with opportunities to develop their independence, sense of self and hope by:



Providing safety, shelter, food, showers and laundry in a nurturing, homelike environment



Helping women to reach their potential through intensive case management and programs that empower them to take control of their lives and advocate for themselves
