The BOCN is dedicated to the nationwide recovery of our wild Barn Owl populations. The Hawk and Owl Trust set up BOCN after their 1980s population survey showed a shocking decline of around 70% over just 50 years.



We are a network of specialist voluntary advisors, working with farmers and landowners to help this beautiful species by promoting a nationwide habitat creation schemecre and installing Barn Owl nest boxes around the country.
