About  [Edit]

The Campaign for Better Health Care is a coalition of organizations and individuals organizing to help create and advocate for an accessible, quality health care system that provides for all.

We believe:

Accessible, affordable, quality health care is a basic human right for ALL people.

We envision a society where quality health care is both affordable and accessible to every person in the State of Illinois and the United States and where the health care needs of all people are met.

This vision will be achieved through a tenacious grassroots campaign to educate and involve health care consumers, build coalitions with other organizations who share our commitment to social justice, and make regulatory and legislative changes in the current health care system at the local, state and national levels.

In this future, we will continue to monitor and protect the quality, accessibility and affordability of this universal health care system.
