About  [Edit]

Sustainable Global Leadership Alliance

Breakthrough Thinking :: Breakthrough Action :: Creating a World that Works for All

Vision

We envision a critical mass of clear and powerful integral leaders, for whom a global perspective is a natural starting point. In this new world, confident and empowered youth are the norm, personal transformation and global sustainability are household words, and creativity and imagination are the norm.

Mission

SGLA delivers cutting-edge leadership programs for young adults, empowering them to be effective catalysts for positive change. We train young leaders to navigate interrelated global, social, economic and environmental realities. We emphasize the personal and interpersonal development essential to being effective leaders, and prompt participants to explore and expand their leadership skills through implementation of sustainability projects in their communities.

Purpose

Sustainable Global Leadership Alliance committed to training and developing people to be global citizens and leaders responsible for the evolution of sustainability.

Global sustainability is defined as a way of life based on a strategic perspective that reaches out beyond the short term to consider what is best for the wellbeing of all life on earth. It is prosperous without being wasteful; taking into consideration long-term economic, environmental and social-cultural reality.

We say leaders inspire themselves and others to be responsible for their power, take effective action and live in a world that works for all.
