About [Edit]

The Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, created in 1956 by a bequest from prominent Chicago architect Ernest R. Graham (1866-1936), is committed to providing project-based grants to individuals and institutions working to address issues in architecture and the built environment. In addition to direct support of architects, artists, scholars and others, the Foundation advances architectural dialogue through a public program of lectures, exhibitions and special projects produced at its Madlener House headquarters, a national landmark.
